10th of September makes it our 5th medical outreach for the year 2022 at Abijoh community of Lagos Nigeria. As we always do, we enlightened pregnant women and nursing mothers on how to guard against maternal and infant mortality. @pediatricpartershospital supported us with medical consultation, counselling and distribution of medication to newborns and other babies of various ages. Major ailments that take the lives of babies were exposed and treated. @steerfornewborn volunteers doctors and nurses were also present to give vital health information and advice on pregnancy and post natal journey, medical check ups were also carried out and distribution of vitamins to the pregnant women. We ended the outreach by distributing our sponsored delivery kits, baby care products and mosquito nets to prevent all women and their children from malaria.
