More than ever, the need to provide access to care and essential resources to keep
mother and babies alive is critical, no more should a mother or child die due to lack of
access to the necessary basic resources to save their lives. Creating an ecosystem of affordable care to women in underserved communities across Nigeria is a necessity due to the projected increase in the total population of Nigeria.

Birth Kits
We provide birth kits packs for Pregnant women to enable them have safe and hygienic delivery.
Nutrition intervention
We provide 4 months of meal plan assistance to malnourished children, lactating mothers, and pregnant women.
New Born Care Packs
We provide newborn materials in form of a welcome park to new mothers to nursing mothers.

The SteerforChange team was at the Agboyin Ketu Community to extend our outreach to the Community. It was indeed eventful. Vital health information was provided to the attendees and we were also able assist pregnant women by giving them our delivery kits. The covid 19 pandemic has affected a lot of pregnant and nursing mothers living in underserved communities and this has increased hunger rate in rural communities and that is why steer for change has decided to reach out to these women.
Steer for change Mother and Newborn Foundation reached out to 90 pregnant and nursing mothers in 3 different communitIes where we distributed raw food materials and our we also produced 300 customised face mask as a means to prevent the spread of covid_19.
We will continue to do our best in ensuring Mothers are kept safe this season.
