Kikelomo Adisa, the visionary Founder of Steer for Change Mother and Newborn Foundation, is a seasoned social impact innovator with a decade of expertise spanning HR, marketing, and nonprofit management. Driven by an unwavering passion for women’s health, Kikelomo is on a mission to prevent maternal and infant mortality in underserved Nigerian communities.
Identifying the root cause as a lack of education and access to medical care, she tackles this issue head-on. Through her foundation, Kikelomo provides free medical checkups, health education, and essential medical aids to pregnant women and nursing mothers in rural areas. In just four years, she has impacted over 5,000 lives across Oyo and Lagos States, Nigeria, offering birth kits, increased healthcare access, and vital medical support.
With a firm belief in the integral role of women in society, Kikelomo actively works to reduce maternal and infant mortality in Nigeria. Open to global partnerships and collaborations, she envisions a healthier future and continues to contribute relentlessly to the health agenda.
