Ayobami Adisa is an astute legal practitioner skilled in administering the rights and responsibilities of corporations and individuals, through the strategic design and tactical implementation of legal instruments. He is an ethics and compliance executive and he has been opportune to represent clients from different sectors of the economy in court.

With over a decade of experience and accomplishments across aviation, financial services, oil and gas and telecommunications industries. His expertise spans IT Law, Corporate Legal Practices, Business Structuring, Commercial Transactions, Mergers & Acquisitions and Intellectual Property Law.

His career started at Layonu & Co. He later joined Interswitch as Head of Legal & Compliance, where he led the legal team in the deal that led to the acquisition of 67% equity in Interswitch for a total value of N26 Billion. He also headed the internal investigation and coordinated the prosecution of an internal fraud worth over N150 Million involving certain employees of Interswitch and a major Diesel supplier.

At Primera Africa, he was the Group Head of Legal & Compliance, where he used legal means to recover an outstanding loan portfolio of N54, 000,000 (Fifty-Four Million Naira) being owned to the Bank. He also prepared a bid for the acquisition of a Pension Funds Administrator for at least 56% equity at a value of over N1.5 Billion for the bank.

While at IHS as the Head of Compliance, he ensured compliance with the Nigerian Communications Commissions Code of Corporate Governance and evidenced same through assessment report submitted to Management. He also investigated ethical compliance breach worth millions of dollars thereby prosecuting indicted employees. He also developed a group-wide Anti-Bribery & Corruption policy and procedure for the business.

Ayobami has a Bachelor of Law from the foremost, University of Ibadan. He’s a Barrister at Law from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. He’s a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional from the International Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics, USA. He’s also a member, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K)

He is married to Kikelomo and they are blessed with three lovely kids.
